About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Sales Executive to join our established Equipment Hire & Sales team. In this high-energy, office-based role, you will be the driving force behind our growth pipeline, specialising in strategic outreach and lead creation. Reporting to our Business Development Manager, you will focus on identifying new target accounts and securing high-value, qualified appointments for our Business Development Manager’s Diary.
Our business is well-established in the Metrology and 3D Data Capture sector and highly respected across sectors such as Aerospace, Construction, Automotive, Manufacturing, Heritage, Energy, and Petrochemical.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Lead Generation: Identify, map out, and engage prospective key decision-makers using proactive phone outreach, LinkedIn, digital research, and targeted email campaigns.
- Qualified Appointment Setting: Conduct engaging initial conversations to uncover client requirements, qualifying prospective opportunities against defined criteria before scheduling meetings for the Business Development Manager.
- Pipeline Creation: Drive first-stage prospect engagement, successfully converting cold contact into high-value warm opportunities without the burden of ongoing account management.
- Collaborative Partnership: Work closely alongside our BDM and technical specialists to ensure seamless handover of qualified leads ahead of product demonstrations.
- Data & CRM Excellence: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all outbound activity, prospect insights, and contact information within our CRM system.
- Market Knowledge: Develop a strong working understanding of our cutting-edge 3D measurement solutions and target industry sectors.

Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in outbound prospecting, Client research and phone-based sales.
- Exceptional communication and telephone skills, with a natural ability to build rapid rapport and spark interest over the phone.
- High resilience, energy, and a positive mindset toward cold outreach and target-driven activity.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills to consistently hit weekly outreach and appointment targets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages and experience using CRM systems.
- Experience within technical sales, engineering, hire, or B2B capital equipment environments is advantageous, though full product training is provided.
