Field Sales Executive

Manchester | Field-Based – North of England
Basic Salary + £500 Commission Per Sale + Company Van

The Opportunity

Two appointments a day. No cold calling. £500 every time you close a sale.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing renewable energy business backed by one of the UK's best-known energy companies.

We're looking for a commercially driven Field Sales Executive to meet with customers who have already expressed an interest in solar energy. Your appointments are generated and booked by the internal marketing team, meaning your focus is simple: understand the customer, recommend the right solution and close the deal.

You'll typically attend two pre-qualified appointments per day, visiting customers in their homes and taking them through the benefits of solar energy, answering questions, handling objections and ultimately asking for the sale.

This is a highly autonomous role where your earning potential is directly linked to your performance. With £500 commission for every successful sale, top performers are currently earning up to £7,000 per month.

If you're competitive, money motivated and enjoy the buzz of closing a deal, this could be a seriously exciting opportunity.

The Company

Our client is a growing renewable energy business helping customers across the UK reduce their energy costs and become more energy independent through solar energy solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
