Job Description

PIB Insurance Brokers (part of PIB Group) is a dynamic insurance broker attracting individuals with a wealth of experience in the insurance market. The business provides expertise across a broad range of specialisms and is looking for a Sales Executive to join their team in Gloucester.

The Sales Executive will gather detailed risk information from clients, advise on appropriate insurance solutions, and follow up on quotations and opportunities, converting these into sales. Deliver a professional, compliant service while recommending a suitable range of products tailored to each client’s needs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Conduct thorough risk fact-finds to capture accurate client and business details.
  • Advise clients on appropriate insurance covers, limits and endorsements aligned to their needs.
  • Build and present tailored proposals spanning a suitable range of products.
  • Follow up on quotations and open opportunities promptly to drive conversion.
  • Handle questions and objections clearly; guide clients to informed decisions.
  • Complete sales compliantly, ensuring documentation accuracy and regulatory adherence.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in Acturis/CRM; summarise key risk and recommendation notes.

What we’re looking for:

  • Professional manner for client advisory; confident on phone; effective objection handling.
  • Confident managing busy pipelines and follow-ups; can prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Insurance knowledge or previous experience within a call centre, or internal pre-sales.
  • Energetic, resilient and target driven.
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong listening skills.
  • Organised multitasker; quick to learn and diligent with detail.
  • Professional and customer-focused who takes pride in quality of their work.
