Sales Executive – B2B Events

Location: London / Hybrid

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

£33,000–£35,000 + £50k+ OTE

We’re working with a leading international B2B events business looking to hire a Sales Executive to join a successful and growing commercial team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking to people, building relationships and working towards clear commercial targets. You’ll be responsible for engaging senior professionals across the life sciences sector and driving attendance across a portfolio of international conferences.

The role sits at the intersection of sales, business development and audience development, so it would suit someone commercially minded who also enjoys researching markets, identifying new prospects and understanding what makes an event valuable to its audience.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Generating revenue through outbound sales across phone, email and LinkedIn
  • Identifying and engaging senior decision-makers within biotech, pharma, healthcare, investment and related markets
  • Building relationships with prospective delegates and converting them into confirmed attendees
  • Managing your own sales pipeline and working towards revenue and attendance targets
  • Researching companies, market trends and new potential audiences
  • Using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo and Salesforce to identify and engage prospects
  • Working closely with marketing, sponsorship and conference production teams
  • Supporting sponsors by helping attract relevant senior buyers and decision-makers to events
  • Developing relationships with C-suite executives and senior industry leaders
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and reporting on your pipeline and activity

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
