Role: Sales Executive – Healthcare, Nursing Homes

Hours: Monday to Friday

Employment Type: Full-Time

Department: Sales

Reporting to: Head of Commercial Healthcare

Location: Northern Ireland

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and driven Salesperson to develop and grow our presence across the Northern Ireland healthcare sector. The successful candidate will have a proven sales background and ideally experience working within healthcare, care homes, hospitals, medical environments or other healthcare-related settings. This is a field-based role and requires travel throughout Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline across Northern Ireland.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within public and private hospital environments and Care homes and residential care providers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including procurement teams, senior management, facilities teams and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage the complete sales process from initial contact through to negotiation and contract award.
  • Monitor upcoming procurement opportunities, tenders and frameworks.
  • Prepare and coordinate tender and procurement submissions, working with internal teams where required.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and activity reports.
  • Achieve agreed sales, revenue and margin targets.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proven experience in a sales, business development or account management role.
  • Experience working within, selling to, or dealing with the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process, from lead generation through to closing.
  • Experience in public sector or government procurement and tender preparation and submission is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships with customers at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, commercially aware and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland.
  • Full driving licence.
