Summary

LGBR is an independent, outsourced distribution and marketing team for asset managers. We partner with quality investment managers to develop and distribute innovative financial products to our extensive range of professional intermediary clients across the UK, and Europe.

We are one of the largest distributors in the UK market in terms of resources, breadth of product, assets under management, and geographies covered.

  • +30 people across sales, marketing & events, and operations
  • £20 bn raised for our asset managers since 2012
  • Whole of UK Professional market coverage (with a focus on the top 10,000 firms)
  • All aspects of distribution covered (product design, marketing, events, sales)
  • Diverse range of asset manager clients, including boutique and larger asset manager firms
  • Diverse product range for distribution, across fund type (long only, alternative, tax-efficient), asset class (equities, fixed income, unlisted) and geography (UK, US, and Europe)

The Role

  • Qualified list of prospects and leads supplied from our extensive database
  • Raising awareness, interest, and ultimately selling a high-quality product range from best of breed investment management companies

Responsibilities

  • Daily sales phone calls to pre-qualified intermediary prospects
  • Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective investors
  • Meet and exceed personal sales targets
  • Book and attend meetings with Fund Managers/Product Specialist
  • Attend events / seminars where our Managers are presenting
  • Build up an extensive knowledge of our products and our competitors
  • Attend internal and external meetings to increase knowledge of our products and the macro environment

Candidate Profile

  • A confident, self-motivated individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A desire to learn and lay the foundations for a career in Finance
  • Able to adapt and work within a fast-paced environment
  • Able to demonstrate a passion for excellent customer service
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
