Mortgage Advisor/Sales Executive – Financial Services
CeMAP Qualification Fully Funded! If you don't already hold your CeMAP qualification, the company will fully fund your training and get you started straight away (CeMAP training in the first week). Once qualified, you'll move up to the top salary of £35,154, giving you the opportunity to significantly increase your earning potential.
Location: Manchester City Centre – Hybrid after probation
Salary: £27,415 without CeMAP, £35,154 with CeMAP qualification & increase to £36,206 after probation (6 months)
OTE: £41,000 typical / up to £50,000+
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (Standard office hours, Mon – Fri)
Shifts: Mon – Friday (No weekends) Shifts between 9am – 7.30pm (3 x 9am – 5pm, 1 x 10.30am – 6.30pm & 1 x 11.30am – 7.30pm per week)
Hybrid: Office based during probation period, then minimum 3 days per week in the office following successful completion of probation.
We’re currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a growing financial services business based in Manchester City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced advised sales professional looking to develop their career within the financial services and lending sector. You’ll be joining a customer-focused team where you’ll manage warm leads, understand customers’ individual circumstances and provide tailored solutions, while working within a highly regulated environment.
The Role
As a Sales Executive/Mortgage Advisor, you will:
- Manage and convert second charge mortgage leads across multiple channels.
- Speak with customers to understand their individual needs and circumstances.
- Provide tailored recommendations and deliver a high level of customer service.
- Work towards and consistently achieve agreed sales, service and performance targets.
- Ensure all customer interactions comply with FCA regulations and responsible lending requirements.
- Follow company policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
- Take ownership of your performance and strive to exceed agreed targets.

About You
We’re looking for candidates with previous experience in a financial services sale’s environment.
You'll need:
- At least 12 months' experience in an advised finance service sales role.
- Experience of working in a contact centre environment.
- A proven track record of achieving sales and performance targets.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent listening and questioning skills, with the ability to understand customer needs.
- Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- A commitment to working within regulatory and compliance requirements.
The ability to work from the Manchester City Centre office at least 3 days per week (following probationary period).
CeMAP Qualification
CeMAP qualification is desirable, although candidates who are part-qualified or do not currently hold CeMAP will also be considered.
If you don't currently hold the qualification, you'll need to demonstrate a genuine commitment to achieving it, with training and support provided. You will go straight into CeMAP training, which lasts 1 week, at which point you can either sit the exam straight away, or have more time to study prior with a view of being qualified within 6 weeks at the latest.

The Environment
This is an opportunity to join a business with a strong focus on customer outcomes, responsible lending and financial inclusion.
You'll be working within an FCA-regulated environment, so you'll be expected to meet the relevant FCA Conduct Rules and maintain the required standards of fitness and propriety.
