About the job

Role:

As a Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for understanding our customers' individual needs, providing tailored solutions to ensure they choose the correct vehicle for their requirements and lifestyle. You'll provide our customers with professional advice and high-quality customer service to support them with their inquiries and purchasing processes and build long-lasting relationships. From vehicle selection and pricing through to documentation and handover, you'll aim for total customer satisfaction throughout the process, achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the Showroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide information to customers and potential customers about our vehicles, specifications, features, pricing, and purchasing options
  • Conduct product demonstrations and test drives
  • Guide customers through the sales process from initial contact to handover
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sale to ensure Showroom targets are met
  • Identify and pursue new sales leads through networking, referrals, and database mining
  • Ensure the Showroom database is kept up to date and accurate for existing and potential customers
  • Maintain contact with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage long-term customer relationships and repeat business
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive trends, models, and technologies
  • Participate in training sessions to improve sales techniques and product knowledge

  • Be over 21 and have held a full Driver's Licence for a minimum of two years (for insurance purposes)
  • Prior experience in automotive or retail sales
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and dealership tools
  • Good IT skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel to a good standard

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of financing and leasing options
  • Experience of working in a large automotive dealership or vehicle showroom
  • Luxury sales experience

  • OTE of £38,400 per year, with a basic salary of £21,600 per year
  • Performance-based commission linked to individual sales performance

  • Working hours of 9:00am to 6:00pm

Showroom:

SAT JAPAN's UK Showroom is located in Purfleet-on-Thames, Grays RM20 3NL. The location provides convenient access to London, Essex and surrounding areas, as well as major transport and logistics routes.

Our UK Showroom is an important part of SAT JAPAN's continued expansion in the United Kingdom, providing customers with the opportunity to view vehicles in person, receive professional sales support and complete their vehicle purchase with confidence.
