Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Sales Executive will manage and grow a portfolio of customers within relevant sectors such as personal care, coatings, food, and healthcare, focusing on promoting and selling active ingredients.

  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Achieving sales targets through effective territory and account management
  • Preparing and delivering product presentations
  • Negotiating commercial terms
  • Coordinating with technical and marketing teams to address customer needs
  • Providing regular sales forecasts and reports
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support strategic planning and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and account management skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, negotiation, and closing.
  • Experience in B2B sales within chemicals, cosmetics, personal care, coatings, food ingredients, or related industries.
  • Ability to build and sustain long-term customer relationships and provide consultative, solution-oriented support.
  • Solid commercial acumen with capability to analyze sales data, forecast demand, and manage pricing and margins.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with confidence in client meetings, conferences, and trade events.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts, opportunities, and reporting requirements.
  • Comfort working in a multicultural, global environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; advanced education is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital collaboration platforms; experience with sales reporting systems is beneficial.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are an asset.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally for client visits and industry events.
