About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Shrewsbury. The Sales Executive will engage with customers in the showroom and via phone and email, understanding their needs and recommending suitable vehicles and services. Daily responsibilities include managing the sales process from initial contact to closing, organizing test drives, and ensuring accurate processing of documentation. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date product knowledge across all represented brands, following up with prospects and existing customers, and supporting promotional campaigns and dealership events. The Sales Executive will collaborate closely with colleagues and management to deliver a positive and seamless customer experience.

  • Proven skills in customer service, relationship building, and client communication, with a strong commitment to delivering an excellent experience.
  • Sales and negotiation abilities, including lead follow-up, closing skills, and a results-oriented approach in a dealership or retail environment.
  • Organizational and administrative skills, such as accurate record-keeping, time management, and attention to detail in handling contracts and compliance.
  • Comfort with digital tools and systems, including CRM software, email communication, and basic office applications to manage customer data and sales activities.
  • Ability to learn and retain detailed product knowledge across multiple automotive brands and explain features and benefits clearly to customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team in a fast-paced showroom setting.
  • Previous automotive sales or related retail sales experience is highly beneficial; a valid driver’s license is required.
