Role Description
The Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based at Harwoods in Chandler's Ford. In this position, the Sales Executive will manage the full sales cycle, from engaging with showroom visitors and online leads to conducting test drives, presenting vehicle features and finance options, and closing sales in line with brand and company standards. The role includes building long-term relationships with customers, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. The Sales Executive will collaborate closely with colleagues in sales, service, and finance to deliver a seamless customer journey, while meeting agreed sales and performance targets. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining vehicle displays, staying up to date with product knowledge and industry developments, and complying with all relevant regulatory and brand requirements.

- Experience in automotive or retail sales, with strong customer relationship management and consultative selling skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, digital sales tools, and basic office software to manage leads and documentation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and active listening abilities to understand customer needs and present suitable solutions.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, follow-ups, and administrative tasks effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Comfort with target-driven environments and the ability to work proactively to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
- Valid UK driving licence and confidence in conducting customer test drives and vehicle handovers.
- Previous experience in the automotive sector or with premium brands is beneficial but not essential; ongoing training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of finance products and compliance requirements in vehicle sales is an advantage.
