Sales Executive – Retail
Location
Manchester
An established premium retail business is looking for a Sales Executive to join its friendly team in Manchester.
This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, understanding customers’ needs and helping them make considered purchases. You’ll manage enquiries from the initial conversation through to sale, delivering a high standard of service throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide advice tailored to their needs.
- Build strong customer relationships and follow up on enquiries.
- Work towards individual and store sales targets.
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional products or services.
- Keep customer records and sales activity up to date using the CRM.
- Process orders, payments and associated paperwork accurately.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support deliveries and aftersales enquiries.
- Help with the day-to-day running and presentation of the store.
- Follow relevant sales, compliance and health and safety procedures.

About You
- Experience in retail or customer-facing sales, ideally with premium or higher-value products.
- A personable, consultative approach and strong customer service skills.
- Confidence working towards targets and managing your own sales pipeline.
- Good organisation, attention to detail and confidence using IT systems.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.
- Willingness to develop your product knowledge.

Weekend and bank holiday working is required, with occasional UK travel for meetings and training.
