The company delivers thousands of new homes each year across the UK, with a significant proportion designed specifically for first-time buyers at accessible price points. Keepmoat also partners with Registered Providers to supply affordable rental homes and supports the Private Rental Sector with properties for market rent. The business actively explores innovative construction methods, including off-site techniques, to increase the number of homes built and to improve speed and efficiency. Role Description
The Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pontefract. The person in this role will manage the customer journey from initial enquiry through to completion, including:
- Greeting visitors at the sales office
- Conducting show home viewings
- Providing clear information on available plots, pricing, and purchase options

Daily responsibilities include:


Get help with your application

- Responding to leads
- Maintaining accurate customer records
- Progressing reservations
- Liaising with solicitors and financial advisors
- Ensuring all documentation is completed in line with company processes
The Sales Executive will work closely with site management and construction teams to stay updated on build progress, handover dates, and any changes affecting customers. This role also involves meeting sales targets, contributing to marketing activities, and delivering a professional, customer-focused experience that reflects Keepmoat’s values.
Qualifications
- Experience in residential property or new homes sales, with strong skills in customer engagement, negotiation, and closing sales.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and basic IT tools to manage leads, track sales activity, and maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and build trust with a wide range of customers.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple enquiries, appointments, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to work to sales targets while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Knowledge of the home-buying process, including mortgages, conveyancing, and reservation procedures, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to work on-site, including weekends and peak sales periods, as required by the development’s opening hours.
- Relevant experience in sales, retail, or customer service; a background in property or construction is an advantage.
- Full UK driving license and access to transport may be beneficial for visiting other developments or partner locations.
