Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Welshpool. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts, and promoting WPG Ltd’s full range of print and related services. Daily tasks include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting sales calls and customer visits, preparing quotations, and following up to close opportunities. The role involves working closely with the production and customer service teams to ensure accurate job specifications, timely delivery, and high customer satisfaction. The Sales Executive will maintain CRM records, report on sales performance, and contribute to sales campaigns and promotional activities to support business growth.

  • Demonstrated sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing, ideally within print, signage, or related industries.
  • Strong customer relationship management abilities, with experience in account management and delivering high levels of service.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical print solutions in clear, customer-friendly language.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries, quotations, and projects simultaneously.
  • Comfort using CRM systems and basic office software (email, spreadsheets, word processing) to track opportunities and prepare proposals.
  • Understanding of or interest in print processes, promotional products, and visual communications; willingness to learn technical product details.
  • Proactive, results-focused mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative on-site team.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel locally for customer visits and meetings.
  • Previous experience in B2B sales is highly beneficial; formal sales or business qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
