Sales Executive

Thames Luxury Charters | London | £35,000–£38,000

Do you love sales? Do you thrive on winning new business, building relationships and closing deals? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.

Thames Luxury Charters (TLC) is one of London's leading luxury event companies, operating a fleet of stunning private charter boats on the River Thames. From intimate celebrations to large-scale corporate events for up to 600 guests, we create exceptional experiences for some of the world's most exciting brands, businesses and private clients.

We are looking for an ambitious, driven and commercially minded Sales Executive to join our growing team in the heart of London.

About the Role

This is a sales role. We are looking for someone who is genuinely motivated by sales, someone who enjoys picking up the phone, building relationships, following up leads, negotiating, overcoming objections and, most importantly, closing business.

You'll be responsible for taking enquiries and turning them into confirmed events, while actively developing new opportunities and building your own pipeline of clients. You'll be selling something people genuinely want to buy: unique luxury experiences on the River Thames.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive new business and actively generate sales opportunities.
  • Respond to and qualify incoming enquiries, converting them into confirmed bookings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and private clients.
  • Manage the full sales journey from initial enquiry through to booking and handover.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and maximise revenue across events.
  • Create bespoke proposals and event solutions tailored to each client's requirements.
  • Follow up consistently and proactively to maximise conversion.
  • Negotiate with clients and confidently close deals.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM records.
  • Work closely with our events and operations teams to ensure a smooth handover once a booking is confirmed.
  • Consistently work towards and exceed individual and team sales targets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
