About the Company

Company mission: To create a society where planning for death is embraced as part of life. We tackle the fear, uncertainty and complexity surrounding death with the power of connection and compassion.

About the Role

Who you are: You're a highly driven, charismatic, self-motivated person, with a real desire to develop your sales skills as part of a team that works tirelessly for one another and our customers. You're target driven, you don't shy away from a challenge, and you want to be a key early member of a start-up with big growth targets.

Responsibilities

  • Leading from the frontline in changing the narrative around end of life conversations — helping customers plan ahead and think positively about the legacy they want to leave behind.
  • Speaking with new leads on the phone, listening closely to them, and pitching Aura to them in the most engaging, fun, informative and inspiring way possible. Beyond that, you will be confident communicating by text and email whenever necessary, as well as monitoring and controlling your artificial intelligence sales co-pilot.
  • Maintaining a high, consistent cadence of outreach. You will be expected to work your pipeline hard and fast: prompt call-backs, no lead left cold, and a daily rhythm of activity that reflects genuine hunger to hit and beat target.
  • Consistently and thoughtfully engaging with your pipeline of leads, making sure that you go the extra mile to make every single one of them feel valued, heard, and one hundred percent convinced that Aura is the perfect company for them.
  • Analysing data. You will have your own key sales metrics dashboard on HubSpot, which will allow you to track, analyse and improve your performance over time — and you'll want to, because you take real ownership of your numbers.
  • Coaching and development. You will receive regular one-to-one and team coaching, ranging from call listening to role play, to testing new lead generation and customer engagement strategies.
  • Getting creative. We expect all of our team members to be constantly thinking of ways to improve our customer experience, and we give generously when it comes to giving you the chance to test your ideas out for yourself and report back on the results. We approach everything with a democratic spirit.
  • Being thorough and on time with your admin. You will post brochures, membership packs, hand-written letters, and more to your leads. You will make sure all of this is done on time and that everything is well presented with a human touch.
  • Feeding into product and marketing efforts — gathering insights around what's working or not working with our customers and collaborating with other departments to improve what we do.
  • Adhering to Financial Conduct Authority rules and regulations, making sure that everything we do is in the customer's best interests and treating customers fairly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Qualifications

You have 3–5 years' experience in sales, whether that's business to consumer, business to business, or business to business to consumer. You understand the basic principles of sales, but more importantly you have a strong desire for coaching and development to become the best salesperson you can be. You truly believe that it's your eagerness to learn that makes you stand out.

Required Skills

  • You're competitive and money-motivated. You track your own numbers obsessively, you want to see your name at the top of the leaderboard, and the idea of uncapped commission genuinely excites you — you see the earning potential here as a reason to push harder, not a nice-to-have.
  • You bring a high work rate as standard. You show up early, you make the extra call at the end of the day, and you don't need to be chased to hit activity targets — hitting them is just what you do.
  • You're compassionate, honest, emotionally intelligent, and you genuinely care about the wellbeing of others. You want to win, but not at all costs, and certainly not at the expense of good outcomes for your customers and positive relationships with your teammates.
  • You are available to work on one day of the weekend. While this is a full-time position, the role is available because we are expanding our weekend team. We will be flexible in allowing you to choose which day of the week you would like to take in lieu of working on a weekend.
  • You are charismatic, a peoples person and have natural magnetic charm that inspires and influences others, particularly through your speech.
  • You're an experienced operator of telephone diallers and proficient in the use of CRM systems such as Hubspot or Salesforce
