Custom Denning is Australia's oldest bus manufacturer, and we're bringing our zero-emission Element 2.2 to the UK. It's a fully integral stainless-steel electric bus, built around what operators actually need. We've set up our European HQ and 9-bay service centre in Ilkeston, and we launch at Euro Bus Expo in November 2026.
We need someone to get us through the doors across the UK bus market before the tender lands and before the competition knows the opportunity exists.
What you'll do
- Pick up the phone. A lot. You'll cold call operators, depots, local authorities and fleet buyers, and turn those calls into meetings.
- Get in the car and turn up. You'll visit depots and meet the decision-makers face to face.
- Own your patch. You'll know every fleet, every replacement plan and every tender date in your territory.
- Fill the pipeline. You'll arrange demos and visits to our Ilkeston service centre, then hand strong leads through to close.
- Fly the flag at events. You'll represent us at trade shows and industry events, starting with Euro Bus Expo at the NEC.

Who you are
- You're a natural hunter, and a "no" doesn't slow you down.
- You're comfortable walking into a depot and asking for the boss.
- You have a proven record in outbound B2B sales, ideally in commercial vehicles, fleet, transport or capital equipment.
- You're self-driven and organised, and happy spending plenty of time on the road.
- You hold a full UK driving licence.
