SALES SUPPORT EXECUTIVE

LOCATION
United Kingdom. Fully remote or hybrid working available.

PAY
£14.36 to £17.95 per hour depending on experience (£28,000 to £35,000 per annum at 37.5 hours)

CONTRACT
Permanent, full-time. Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm, with occasional out-of-hours assistance when clients are travelling.

Sales Manager (client side)

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Sales Support Executive provides administrative and operational support to the sales team across the full client journey, from quotation and availability checks through to booking confirmation, pre-departure preparation, in-trip support and post-trip feedback.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support sales colleagues across all stages of the client journey and deliver a consistently high standard of customer care.
  • Check service availability, prepare quotations and track booking deadlines.
  • Finalise travel plans, secure all trip components and confirm arrangements with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records in the client portal and internal systems and carry out quality checks for completeness.
  • Manage invoicing and process payments across platforms, including upgrades and correct billing.
  • Issue tickets, send pre-departure welcome packs and prepare clients ahead of departure.
  • Coordinate with local partners in Africa to confirm services and resolve issues.
  • Confirm special arrangements and key celebrations with accommodation providers.
  • Work with the sales team to handle requests and resolve problems throughout the trip, including out-of-hours assistance when required.
  • Manage post-trip feedback and share insights internally.
  • Identify opportunities for additional sales and recommend improvements to systems and client experience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience in a comparable sales support, operations or reservations role within the travel sector. This is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with bookings and billing.
  • Clear written and spoken communication with clients and suppliers.
  • Confidence with booking systems, client portals and payment platforms.
  • Ability to prioritise across multiple trips and deadlines.
  • A stable home internet connection and a quiet workspace.
  • The right to work in the UK.

DESIRABLE

  • Knowledge of on-the-ground logistics in Africa.
  • Experience with tailor-made or luxury travel.
