4Sports Sales Team Expansion

4Sports is an established, family run-business in Dereham, Norfolk, supplying teamwear, workwear, and trophies to clubs, schools, and businesses in Norfolk and beyond. We do all embroidery and print in-house and work closely with our partners to deliver the best kit/uniform in the county.

We are looking to add to our sales team, and are particularly looking for someone to expand our business beyond the football industry, into Cricket, Netball, Rugby, and more. This sales role will lead to working directly with the owners and play an active role in expanding the business, with the main roles including:

  • Acquiring new clubs. This is done through networking, email, word of mouth, social media, media campaigns, and through our already established contacts in the sports industry, as well as utilizing partnerships we have in place with organizations like Norfolk FA, Norfolk Cricket League, NCYFL, and more.
  • Looking after the clubs you bring in. Quoting, processing orders, getting artworks signed off, working with the club to help their order process, building rapport.
  • Answering phones, walk-ins, and looking after collections as a part of your day.
  • Helping the business grow in the background, whether that be through recommendations of a new brand you want to offer to your customer base, or a different way you wish to approach potential customers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Industry experience is not essential, nor is sales experience, although it is preferred if applicants have either sales experience or are part of the sporting community. Full training is provided on-site by the company directors and head of sales. Basic computer skills are required, including managing an inbox, working with spreadsheets, as well as a confidence on the phone and talking to new people.

Apply through LinkedIn, with your CV and a short note explaining your interest in the role. We are taking the time to find the right person for our team, there is no fixed closing date, and an appointment will only be made when we find a candidate who is a strong match for the role.
