Role Overview

The Talent Set are delighted to partner with the client on a fantastic Sales Executive role. This position involves driving membership growth for a prominent industry organisation through proactive outreach, relationship building, and sales activity, all supported by comprehensive training within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify potential membership prospects through inbound and outbound communication.
  • Manage sales enquiries, nurture leads, and guide applicants through the membership application process.
  • Develop and deliver tailored proposals to meet individual customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, tracking all sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets by converting interest into memberships.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
  • Keep informed about the full range of membership products and industry competitors.
  • Provide exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and updates in accordance with organizational procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection policies and relevant legislation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in ongoing training to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in sales, particularly with membership or service subscriptions, ideally with CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Skilled in initiating cold calls and following up on warm leads with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and demonstrate good questioning and listening skills.
  • Organised, with effective time management and prioritisation capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and within a team.
  • A keen willingness to learn about industry products, market trends, and the organisation’s services.

What’s on Offer

  • Salary: £35,000 pro-rata
  • Location: London – Hybrid
  • Contract: 6 months
