Company Description
Spirit Sports Equipment is a UK-based sports wear & Equipment brand with a mission to raise awareness of mental health in sport. The company donates 10% of all profits to mental health charities across the UK, aligning business growth with social impact. Spirit Sports Equipment currently offers equipment & sportswear across a range of sports in the UK.
Since starting in 2023, Spirit is now one of the fastest-growing sports brands in the UK, working with over 1000+ amateur sports clubs, 60+ university teams, and several professional sports setups around the country. As we continue to grow rapidly as a brand, we are looking to add an ambitious person to our team who has aspirations of growing the brand to one of the biggest in the UK in the coming years.

Work Location: Whitley Bay (Newcastle Upon Tyne)
This is a FULL TIME, ON SITE Sales Executive role based in Whitley Bay. Due to the small size of our team, the job role will be expansive, however mainly, your role will focus on generating new business, managing existing customer relationships, and promoting Spirit Sports Equipment products to clubs, schools, and retailers via our AI outreach tools and social media handles. Daily responsibilities will vary, and include, but not be limited to:
- Client Outreach & Lead Generation
- Updating CRM systems
- Working with our In-house AI lead generation software
- Communicating with Existing Customers
- Booking, & Conducting Sales Calls With new Customers
- Designing kits with Adobe
- Working with Canva Design
- Coordinating with Internal teams on Stock and Delivery
- Participate in wider business projects and support the ongoing development of the wider sales team
- Representing the Brand at University Sports Events
- Representing the brand’s commitment to mental health awareness in sport

- You will have a passion for sports and have ideally played sport at a high level throughout your life. You will have knowledge of sports equipment and teamwear.
- Most importantly, you will be willing to learn and listen to instructions given by other members of staff.

Qualifications
- Full UK Drivers License (Desired)
- University Degree or Equivalent in either sports, graphic design, or business (Desired)
- Previous experience in sales (Desired)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and have good general IT literacy (Required)
- Demonstrated IT Skills with the ability to adapt to new, complex software quickly (Required)
PLEASE NOTE: Full product and industry training will be provided for the right candidate.
Salary & Additional Benefits
- £27,000 to £30,000 base salary depending on experience
