The Role

This is a sales position where you will have ownership of your territory and be responsible for generating and converting new business opportunities. You will:

  • Develop new business opportunities within your allocated territory.
  • Generate your own leads and proactively identify prospective clients.
  • Build relationships with Dentists and Practice Managers.
  • Meet with prospective clients to understand their needs and present the dental indemnity proposition.
  • Deliver engaging PowerPoint presentations to dental practices and clinicians.
  • Manage your own diary and ensure all leads and opportunities are followed up effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system.
  • Attend networking events, industry events and trade shows to develop relationships and generate new opportunities.
  • Work towards and contribute to personal and team annual sales targets.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with dental professionals.
  • Manage your workload independently while working as part of a supportive and collaborative sales team.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building relationships and developing new business.

Desirable Experience

Experience within insurance or the dental sector would be highly advantageous. The ideal candidate may have:

  • Previous experience within the insurance market or experience in the dental industry.

Essential Experience

  • Experience in sales within the healthcare sector or a graduate with some customer-facing/sales experience.
  • Previous experience in sales, business development or a field-based sales role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Strong organisation and diary management skills.
  • Excellent follow-up and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-motivated approach, with the drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit team.

Package

  • £30,000-£45,000 basic salary, depending on experience
  • Bonus - £60 per dentist up to 100 dentists onboarded, £100 per dentist between 100 to 150 dentists onboarded, and £150 per dentist above 150 new dentists onboarded
  • Additional bonus incentive based on a stretch target
  • AL 25 days + BH
  • Pension 10%
