Sales Executive - Harlequins FC, Twickenham | Full-Time / Permanent

£32,000 + bonus and excellent benefits including hybrid working, healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, meals on duty, and more.

We're seeking the next Sales Executive to join the forward-thinking team Conference & Events hospitality team at Harlequins FC - one of the most famous and prestigious rugby clubs in the world.

In this exciting Sales Executive position you will support sales and coordination of non-matchday and matchday events. Using your excellent communication, administration, and customer service skills you will be an integral part of the hospitality events sales team, working across venue show-rounds, coordinating commercial bookings, and diary management.

Hybrid working (1 day remote and 4 days on-site)

Sales Executive - The role

  • Bringing a friendly, professional and positive approach to every customer or client interaction.
  • Responding quickly and professionally to all customer and client emails and calls.
  • Keeping systems and records accurate, ensuring all information is captured in line with SOPs and Levy standards.
  • Delivering a safe, consistent and high-quality service that meets all legislative and operational requirements.
  • Using your can-do attitude to customer requests and looking for ways to exceed expectations.
  • Building your knowledge of our hospitality services and venue facilities so you can confidently guide customers.
  • Capturing customer feedback and turn valuable insights into action.
  • Spotting opportunities to improve processes, boost efficiency and champion new ideas.
  • Supporting colleagues with energy and positivity, stepping in wherever needed to get the job done.
  • Contributing to training and meetings, promoting the Twickenham Stoop facilities and positively representing Levy, including managing online bookings and client accounts where required.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within an event/hospitality role at venue level.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills - confident with the ability to make decisions.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Competent in using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.
  • Assertive, calm and works well under pressure.
  • Passionate about sales and operations.
  • Ability to multitask, think fast and to deliver solutions to customer requirements.
  • Diplomatic and discreet.
  • Creative in thinking and approach.
  • Challenge where required.
  • Can manage customer feedback and confidently manage complaint handling.
  • A good sense of humour.
