Entry Level Sales Executive

Leeds | £28,000-£30,000 Base Salary + £16,000-£25,000 OTE

Are you ambitious, competitive, and looking for a career where your hard work directly impacts your progression and earnings?

Have you worked towards targets before and enjoyed the challenge of hitting goals and being recognised for your performance?

Want to break into SaaS sales with an award-winning AI business that's growing rapidly and investing heavily in its future?

We're working with a high-growth technology company based in Leeds that is transforming how businesses use AI to drive commercial success. Their platform helps clients achieve an average 8:1 return on investment, they've been recognised with an award for their innovative use of AI, and generated over £3.5 million in revenue last year alone.

Backed by private equity and with ambitious growth plans for the coming years, they're looking to add driven, commercially minded individuals to their growing sales team.

The Role

This is an entry-level Sales Executive opportunity designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in SaaS sales.

Initially, you'll focus on generating new business opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, and building relationships with key decision-makers. You'll be responsible for creating sales opportunities through outbound activity, whilst learning the skills needed to become a successful B2B salesperson.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and researching prospective clients
  • Reaching out to decision-makers via phone, email and LinkedIn
  • Building relationships and understanding client challenges
  • Booking qualified meetings and creating sales opportunities
  • Managing and developing a pipeline of prospects
  • Working closely with senior sales leaders to learn the full sales process

Whilst you'll start on the front end of the sales funnel, the business has a clear progression path in place. High performers are developed into full-cycle salespeople, with opportunities to take ownership of deals and progress into closing roles as they grow within the business.

  • Coming from retail, hospitality, estate agency or another target-driven environment
  • A graduate with strong extracurricular achievements, sports experience or leadership responsibilities
  • In a customer-facing role where you've been measured against performance objectives
