We’re looking for a passionate and driven Sales Executive.
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a fast-paced, target-driven role where you’ll focus on reducing customer churn, driving revenue, and strengthening relationships with SME customers. The Sales Executive is responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer interactions, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services, and delivering tailored solutions that help businesses grow. Your contribution will support customer retention, revenue growth and the overall success of a high-performing sales team.
Job Title: Sales Executive
Salary: £25,000 per annum + uncapped commission (OTE £45,000 per annum)
Location: Sheffield
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30/9:00 - 17:00/17:30 (37.5 hours)
What You'll Be Doing
As a Sales Executive, you will:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with UK B2B customers, identifying customer needs and offering tailored O2 Business solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with SME customers, supporting them throughout the full sales journey.
- Identify and maximise upsell and cross-sell opportunities across campaigns to increase customer value and revenue.
- Work towards and exceed sales targets, KPIs and performance objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- Use CRM systems to manage opportunities, maintain accurate records and track customer interactions.
- Collaborate with sales and operational teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and resolve customer queries efficiently.

What We’re Looking For
- Previous sales experience is desirable, ideally within telecoms, energy or merchant services.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, understand customer needs and confidently handle objections.
- Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads and priorities effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain products and solutions clearly and professionally.
- Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and other business tools to manage activity and customer information.
