What Does a Sales Executive Do?
As a Sales Executive, you are responsible for driving growth by selling and promoting our full range of Autobag packaging equipment solutions within the South East UK territory. You play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building long-term customer relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customers’ operational needs. Working closely with the Sales Director, you contribute directly to achieving commercial targets while strengthening our market presence and reputation.

Why Do We Need You?
Role
We need you to help us grow our business and deepen customer partnerships by combining strong sales execution with a proactive, customer-focused mindset. In this role, you will:
- Deliver against machine, bag, and activity targets to support overall sales objectives.
- Generate, qualify, and follow up on new leads, ensuring no commercial opportunity is missed.
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, including live machinery demonstrations that clearly communicate value and return on investment.
- Build trusted relationships with new and existing customers by providing an outstanding level of service and responsiveness.
- Identify new applications, industries, and market opportunities through continuous prospecting and networking.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer insights, sharing regular reports to support informed business decisions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the customer and prospect database, ensuring data quality and visibility.
- Work independently in a field-based role, managing your territory effectively while collaborating with internal stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative selling, thrives on autonomy, and is motivated by achieving results through strong commercial awareness and relationship-building skills.
Qualifications
Essential
- Proven background in sales and customer service.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Full UK driving licence.
