Sales Executive (Instruments / Export Sales)

Are you from a technical, scientific or sales background looking to develop a career in international technical sales and account management, with full training and overseas travel?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading manufacturer of innovative water quality instrumentation, supplying major water companies across the UK and growing rapidly across international emerging markets. With consistent year-on-year growth and an ambitious expansion strategy, this is an excellent time to join the business.

In this role, you will develop relationships with distributors, private labellers and international customers across Africa, the Middle East and South America. You will manage opportunities through the sales process, develop new business and receive full training on a specialist range of scientific instrumentation.

This role would suit someone from a technical, scientific or sales background who is looking to develop their career in international sales, with the opportunity to travel overseas.

The Role:

  • Develop sales across international and emerging markets
  • Build relationships with distributors, private labellers and end users
  • Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to order handover
  • Prepare technically accurate proposals and tenders
  • Travel internationally to visit customers and develop key accounts
  • Work closely with product development and manufacturing teams

The Person:

  • Technical, scientific or sales background
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Commutable to Burnley
