About the job
At Media 10, we do things differently. We’re the UK’s most decorated events and publishing company, delivering iconic, award-winning experiences across design, interiors, lifestyle, and construction. We’re passionate, we’re creative, and we believe in making work as exciting as the experiences we produce.
The Ideal Home Show is the longest-running consumer exhibition in the world, a flagship of innovation, design, and lifestyle for the modern home. With a brand that continues to grow in scope and prestige, we’re looking for a commercially savvy, entrepreneurial Commercial Manager to drive revenue, grow partnerships, and lead from the front.
The Role
As Sales Executive on a brand-new edition of this iconic event, you’ll have a hand in shaping the next hundred years of the Ideal Home Show, working initially on the food and drink section of the floorplan.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Director, as well as the wider marketing, content, and operations teams, you’ll ensure each client has a smooth and rewarding experience, from the first conversation to on-site delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
