Job Specification – Outbound Sales Executive
Salary: £32,000 per annum plus commission
Location: Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Working arrangement: Office based
Employment type: Full time
The Role
We are recruiting for a motivated, confident and target-driven Outbound Sales Executive to join the commercial team of a growing service-led business based in Kent.
This is a fast-paced, office-based role focused on generating new business. You will proactively contact prospective commercial customers, identify opportunities, build relationships and convert leads into new customer accounts.
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys speaking with customers, is comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and is motivated by targets, KPIs and achieving sales results.
Key Responsibilities
- Make proactive outbound calls to prospective commercial customers.
- Generate new business opportunities across a range of business services.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Follow up leads, quotations and previous sales conversations.
- Convert opportunities into appointments, quotations and new customer accounts.
- Handle objections confidently and negotiate with prospective customers.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, opportunities and customer interactions.
- Keep CRM records and sales pipelines up to date.
- Work closely with commercial and operational colleagues to ensure a smooth handover of new customers.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s services and target markets.
- Work consistently towards individual and team sales targets.

KPI-Driven Environment
This is a performance-focused position, with success measured against clear KPIs, including:
- Outbound calls and meaningful customer conversations
- Decision-maker contacts
- Qualified sales opportunities generated
- Appointments and surveys booked
- Quotations generated and followed up
- Conversion rates
- New customers won
- Monthly new business revenue
- Sales pipeline value and activity
Performance will be reviewed regularly, with coaching and support provided to help you meet and exceed targets.

- Comfortable working in a structured, KPI-driven environment.
- Able to build rapport quickly with business customers.
- A clear and effective communicator.
- Able to work independently while contributing to a wider commercial team.
- Competent using CRM systems, email and standard office software.

Previous experience in telesales, outbound sales, business development or B2B sales would be advantageous.
Experience within commercial hygiene, facilities management, waste management, pest control or another service-led sector would also be beneficial, although this is not essential.

A successful Outbound Sales Executive will consistently create new opportunities, maintain a healthy sales pipeline and convert prospects into long-term customers.
You will take ownership of your performance, understand your position against target and proactively manage daily activity to achieve monthly objectives.
We are looking for someone with energy, resilience, commercial awareness and a genuine drive to win new business.
