Sales Executive

Rochdale
£33k - £35k DOE + annual performance bonus + company car

Are you an experienced sales professional looking for a role where you can build relationships, develop new business and work with customers across an international market? Can you identify opportunities, generate interest and convert new accounts? Are you organised, can work with minimal supervision and driven to achieve results?

This is a great opportunity to work for a leading textile manufacturer, selling specialist products into the fashion and apparel market, both in the UK and abroad. You’ll become an important point of contact for new and existing customers, develop relationships and turn opportunities into long-term business. Responsibilities will include:

  • Identify potential customers within the fashion, apparel and textile sectors
  • Generate new business opportunities and convert leads into new accounts
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing contacts
  • Respond to enquiries, provide samples, product information and quotations
  • Stay up to date with market trends, new brands and developments within the fashion and textile industries
  • Supporting trade shows, product presentations and other marketing activity
  • Working closely with production and logistics teams to ensure orders are delivered effectively
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity and pipeline information
  • Prepare sales reports and work towards agreed monthly and annual targets

We’re looking for someone who enjoys sales and is motivated by building relationships and winning new business. You’ll ideally have:

  • 5 years’ experience in a sales environment
  • A proven ability to develop relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A target-driven and commercially minded approach
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
  • Confidence dealing with customers at different levels
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally when required
