Help financial institutions transform securities finance across Europe

The European securities finance market continues to evolve as financial institutions seek to modernise complex operating environments, improve efficiency, strengthen control, optimise the use of capital and collateral, and respond to changing client and regulatory expectations.

At FIS, we help financial institutions modernise the technology that supports their capital markets operations. We’re looking for a Sales Executive Lead to drive growth for our Securities Finance Solutions across Europe, helping banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, custodians, and other market participants transform securities lending and borrowing operations.

The impact you’ll have

As a Sales Executive Lead, you’ll identify strategic opportunities, develop senior client relationships, and close complex deals that deliver measurable outcomes for securities finance organisations across Europe. You’ll:

  • Win new clients and expand strategic accounts across the European securities finance market.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement through contract signature.
  • Position FIS as a strategic transformation partner rather than solely a technology provider.
  • Help clients modernise securities lending, borrowing, collateral, and associated operational capabilities.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
  • Develop opportunities across banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, custodians, and other securities finance market participants.
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth through disciplined territory planning, new-logo acquisition, and strategic account expansion.
  • Influence how clients approach technology modernisation, process automation, operational resilience, and growth.

Your success will be measured through revenue growth, bookings performance, pipeline generation, strategic account development, and long-term customer value creation.

What you’ll be selling

You’ll represent FIS’s Securities Finance Solutions, helping financial institutions transform critical activities across the securities finance lifecycle, including:

  • Securities lending and borrowing operations.
  • Trade capture and lifecycle processing.
  • Inventory, position, and availability management.
  • Collateral and exposure-related workflows.
  • Operational automation and exception management.
  • Data, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
  • Client and counterparty servicing.
  • Technology modernisation and transformation programmes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
