The Opportunity

Neathouse Partners are looking for a driven, commercially minded Sales Executive to join our growing team.

This is a closing-focused sales role combining warm inbound opportunities with proactive business development.

You'll be responsible for speaking with businesses that have already expressed an interest in our services, understanding their requirements and converting those opportunities into new clients. At the same time, we don't want someone who simply waits for the next lead to arrive.

You'll also proactively create opportunities by working our existing database, re-engaging previous prospects and identifying businesses that could benefit from our services.

For someone who can consistently deliver results, there is genuine opportunity to increase your earnings and progress as the sales function grows.

What You'll Be Doing

Convert Inbound Opportunities

You'll take ownership of inbound sales opportunities from initial conversation through to close. This will include:

  • Responding quickly to new enquiries
  • Understanding the prospect's business, challenges and requirements
  • Explaining the value of our services clearly and confidently
  • Conducting sales calls and demonstrations where appropriate
  • Preparing and presenting proposals
  • Following up consistently
  • Handling objections
  • Negotiating and closing new business
  • Maintaining a healthy pipeline of active opportunities

Generate Your Own Opportunities

Inbound leads are only one part of the role. You'll also be expected to proactively generate new business opportunities by:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Working through our existing prospect and customer database
  • Re-engaging previous enquiries and opportunities
  • Identifying lapsed or dormant prospects
  • Following up businesses that weren't ready to buy previously
  • Prospecting into relevant businesses
  • Making outbound calls and sending targeted emails
  • Creating your own pipeline alongside company-generated opportunities

We want someone who thinks "Where's my next deal coming from?" rather than waiting for one to land in their inbox.

Own Your CRM & Pipeline

Good sales discipline is essential. You'll be expected to keep the CRM accurate and up to date, recording every meaningful customer touchpoint so there is always a clear picture of where each opportunity stands. Your pipeline should accurately reflect what you're working on, what's likely to close and what needs to happen next.

What Success Looks Like

You'll be measured on both results and activity, including:

  • New ACV generated
  • Deals won
  • Conversion rate
  • Self-generated opportunities
  • Pipeline created
  • Speed and quality of inbound lead follow-up
  • Consistent prospecting activity
  • CRM accuracy and pipeline management

A strong performer in this role will consistently convert inbound opportunities while building an additional pipeline of their own.

Who We're Looking For

You don't need to be the finished article, but you do need to be commercially driven. You'll likely be someone who:

  • Enjoys speaking with business owners and decision-makers
  • Is confident asking for the sale
  • Can build rapport quickly
  • Is comfortable handling objections
  • Has the discipline to follow opportunities through rather than giving up after one or two attempts
  • Is comfortable making outbound calls
  • Takes ownership of their pipeline and results
  • Understands that CRM management is part of selling, not an admin task
  • Is motivated by targets and earning potential
  • Is organised and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Wants to develop their sales career rather than simply do a sales job

Career Progression

We're building for growth, and we want the person joining us to have the opportunity to grow with the business. For someone who demonstrates consistent performance, strong sales discipline and the ability to help us improve how we sell, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibility as the team expands.

Why Join Neathouse Partners?

You'll be joining a growing business where your individual contribution is visible and where good ideas and strong performance can make a real difference.

You'll have the benefit of inbound sales opportunities, while still having the freedom to create additional opportunities and increase your earnings through your own activity.

If you're commercially ambitious, enjoy winning new business and want the opportunity to grow alongside the company, we'd like to hear from you.
