Role Description
The Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based at Group 1 Automotive UK in Llandudno Junction. The Sales Executive will engage with customers in the showroom and over the phone, identifying their needs and guiding them through the vehicle selection, test drive, and purchase process.

- Day-to-day tasks include presenting vehicles and features, preparing and explaining quotations and finance options, managing follow-up communications, and maintaining accurate records in line with company processes.
- Responsibilities also include achieving individual and team sales targets, supporting promotional activities, and collaborating closely with colleagues across sales, finance, and aftersales.
- The Sales Executive is expected to uphold high standards of customer care and represent the Group 1 Automotive brand in a professional and friendly manner.

Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills, with a focus on consultative selling and customer needs analysis.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, including active listening and clear, professional verbal and written communication.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships and work effectively within a team-oriented retail environment.
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with attention to detail when handling documentation, finance proposals, and vehicle handovers.
- Comfortable working with dealership IT systems, CRM tools, and basic office software; numeracy skills for pricing and finance discussions.
- Previous experience in automotive sales or retail sales is highly beneficial; a valid UK driving licence is typically required.
- Positive, self-motivated approach, resilience in a target-driven environment, and commitment to ethical and compliant selling practices.
