External Sales Representative – Elgin

Are you a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, winning new business, and helping customers find the right solutions?

MacGregor Industrial Supplies is looking for an enthusiastic External Sales Representative to join our team based in Elgin.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop an established territory while identifying new business opportunities across a wide range of industries.

About the Role

As an External Sales Representative, you'll spend your time meeting customers, developing new business, and managing existing accounts. You'll become a trusted partner to your customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions from our extensive range of industrial products and services.

Working closely with our branch teams and product specialists, you'll play a key role in driving sales growth and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Managing and developing your sales territory.
  • Delivering sales and gross profit targets.
  • Promoting our full range of products and services.
  • Providing expert advice and excellent customer service.
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver outstanding results.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in external sales, business development, or account management.
  • Enjoys meeting customers and building long-term relationships.
  • Is commercially focused and driven to achieve results.
  • Has excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Is organized, self-motivated, and able to manage their own workload.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.

Experience within industrial supplies, merchanting, engineering, construction, or wholesale distribution would be an advantage, but we welcome applications from ambitious sales professionals with transferable B2B sales experience.
