Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Gateshead. The Sales Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities, make outbound calls, and follow up on inbound inquiries to grow the customer base. Responsibilities include:

The role also involves maintaining relationships with existing customers, handling account queries, and ensuring a high standard of service throughout the sales process. The Sales Executive will collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing satisfaction, while updating CRM records and reporting on sales performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, cold calling, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Customer relationship and communication skills, such as active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and a customer-centric approach.
  • Organizational and administrative skills, including CRM usage, pipeline management, and accurate record keeping.
  • Basic commercial and analytical skills, including understanding pricing structures, interpreting performance data, and meeting sales targets.
  • A proactive work ethic, the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and resilience in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Previous experience in B2B sales, telesales, or account management is highly beneficial; experience in waste management or related sectors is an advantage.
