Trade Sales Executive (Outbound New Business), Part-Time

K&B Panels Limited — Liverpool

About Us

K&B Panels is a fast-growing Liverpool-based interiors brand. We design and manufacture decorative EPS 3D wall panels, sold across the UK and US through Amazon, Shopify, B&Q, The Range, Robert Dyas and Walmart. Manufacturing runs out of our own factory in Tuzla, Istanbul.

We're now building out our trade and B2B side, selling directly to venues that want fast, striking wall finishes without wet trades or long install times.

The Role

We're looking for a part-time Trade Sales Executive to open new trade accounts. This is outbound sales into a defined list of venues, mostly attractions, parks and hospitality operators, using whatever mix of phone, email and LinkedIn gets a response, then a sequence and rhythm that keeps the conversation moving until it converts.

You'll work from a ready-made pack: a target list, a proven case study, trade pricing and a sample process. Your job is to get the phone answered, get the story told, and get a sample box into the right hands. Orders follow from there.

Hours: 20 hours a week to start, flexible across 4 to 5 days. Reviewed at 12 weeks with the option to scale up if the pipeline is converting.

Location: Hybrid. Calls can be made from home, with time in our Liverpool office for samples, pipeline reviews and coaching. Exact split is flexible, could be 2 days, could be 3, more often in the first few weeks while you're getting up to speed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll be coached directly, not left to figure it out alone. Jake has worked at VP Sales and Head of Business Development level before founding K&B, and will be hands-on with call reviews, pitch refinement and pipeline strategy, especially in the first few weeks.

What You'll Do

  • Work through a target list of 200 to 300 named venues: theme parks, caravan and holiday parks, glamping sites, escape rooms, attractions, gyms, bars and restaurants, mostly mid-market and independently run rather than large chains with procurement layers
  • Run outbound outreach across phone, email and LinkedIn, using the case study and pricing pack to open the conversation, and following a sequence rather than a single one-off touch
  • Get sample boxes out to anyone who shows interest, and track what happens next
  • Follow up on samples sent, quotes issued and orders placed
  • Keep a clean weekly record: calls made, conversations had, samples sent, quotes out, orders closed
  • Report numbers weekly so we can see what's working and adjust the target list or pitch
  • Check back in with accounts you've opened every couple of months to see if there's a next phase or repeat order. Any service issue or complaint goes to our ops team, not you

What Success Looks Like

You'll be building a steady pipeline: regular outbound outreach, samples going out to anyone who shows real interest, and quick wins landing regularly, not a long drawn-out sales cycle. We target mid-market, independently run venues rather than big chains with procurement committees, so there's usually one person on the call who can say yes, and they can pay on the spot via a Shopify link rather than waiting on a PO. Timing and pitch make the difference here, not red tape. Samples sent is still the number we watch closest, since it's the clearest signal of which conversations are about to convert.

Who We're Looking For

  • Comfortable and confident on the phone, over email and on LinkedIn, and not put off by a run of no's
  • Organised enough to keep a pipeline and follow up on time, every time
  • B2B or trade sales experience is a plus, but not essential if you can sell on the phone
  • Based in or near Liverpool, for occasional showroom visits

Pay and Commission

  • Base: £14 per hour, 20 hours a week (£280/week, approx. £1,215/month)
  • Commission: 5% of the value of any new trade account's first order, paid once the invoice is settled
  • Trailing commission: 1% on repeat orders from that same account for the first 6 months after it's opened
  • On-target earnings: realistically £1,450 to £1,950/month once the pipeline is moving, with no cap on commission

Trial Period

Three-month probation with a formal review. Hours and pay are revisited at that point based on results.
