Snows BYD Honiton provides a range of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles from BYD to customers across Devon and Somerset. The dealership is supported by a team of fully trained automotive and finance professionals who assist with all aspects of vehicle purchase. Customers can access tailored finance options including Lease, PCP, and Hire Purchase. The team focuses on delivering clear guidance and a high-quality customer experience for individuals and businesses transitioning to electric mobility.
Role Description
The Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Exeter. The Sales Executive will:
- Welcome customers to the showroom
- Identify their needs
- Present suitable BYD electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, including detailed product features and benefits

Day-to-day tasks include:


Get help with your application

- Conducting test drives
- Preparing and explaining finance quotations (Lease, PCP, Hire Purchase)
- Managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to delivery and aftercare
- Maintaining accurate customer records
- Following up leads
- Working towards agreed sales and customer satisfaction targets
- Collaborating closely with colleagues in sales, finance, and service to provide a seamless customer experience
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate clearly in person, by phone, and via email.
- Sales and negotiation abilities, including experience handling objections, closing deals, and working towards performance targets.
- Basic finance and numerical skills, with the capacity to explain Lease, PCP, and Hire Purchase options in an accessible and compliant manner.
- Interest in and understanding of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, including willingness to learn detailed product and technical information.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in documentation and CRM systems.
- Previous experience in automotive sales or a similar retail sales environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Comfort using digital tools and dealership systems for lead management, quotations, and customer communication.
- Valid UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.
