Sales Executive

Location: Surrey (3 days in office)

Salary: £30,000 (DOE) + Uncapped OTE Commission

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Sales Executive to join a fast-growing, award-winning events and media business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and working in a target-driven environment where success is recognised and rewarded.

Working as part of a collaborative commercial team, you'll be responsible for driving revenue across a portfolio of market-leading exhibitions and events. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their sales career within a thriving organisation that offers genuine progression, ongoing training, and international opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Generate new business through proactive outbound sales activity.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using the CRM system.
  • Conduct sales calls and virtual or face-to-face meetings with prospective clients.
  • Ensure all sales administration and event documentation is completed accurately.
  • Adhere to company payment procedures and internal processes.
  • Attend competitor exhibitions and industry events to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Event Directors and wider sales teams to maximise cross-selling opportunities and share leads.
  • Take ownership of your sales performance while delivering outstanding customer service.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll be:

  • A confident and motivated sales professional with a passion for winning new business.
  • Comfortable making outbound sales calls and developing long-term client relationships.
  • Target-driven, resilient, and commercially minded.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experienced using CRM systems to manage sales activity.
  • An excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Previous B2B sales, media sales, or exhibition sales experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
