Sales Executive – HSL, Northern Ireland / Ireland
Hospital Services Limited is a specialist distributor of medical supplies, surgical equipment, and consumable products, servicing public and private hospitals across the UK and Ireland. With a staff of 200, active in the market and based at offices in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, and Great Britain. In addition to supplying market-leading technologies and solutions to our customers, HSL’s team provides ongoing technical and clinical support to the end-end user of our products. HSL is recruiting a Sales Executive to drive growth of our radiation protection range across radiology departments throughout the island of Ireland (Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland). Radiation protection garments — including lead aprons, thyroid shields, and other personal protective apparel — protect clinical staff working with ionising radiation, and this role sits at the centre of how hospitals and imaging centres access and are properly fitted for that protection.
About the role:
As Territory Sales Manager, you will be the face of the company across your region, responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts while actively seeking out and developing new business opportunities within both public and private hospitals. You'll play a key role in shaping how our products are positioned and sold in the marketplace, and you'll be trusted to manage the full sales cycle from initial client contact through to order completion.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
