Experienced Sales Representative
Belfast | Fully Office-Based
We’re recruiting on behalf of an established Belfast-based technology manufacturer specialising in body-worn video camera solutions, alongside secure firmware and software.
Established in 2007, the company has built a strong reputation within its market, supplying innovative technology solutions to a wide range of customers across multiple industry sectors.
As the business continues to grow, they are now looking for an experienced Sales Representative to join their Belfast team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys new business development and gets a buzz from identifying opportunities, opening doors and turning prospects into long-term customers.
Please note: this is a fully office-based position in Belfast, with travel to customer sites as required.
The Role
This is a proactive, new-business-focused sales position where you’ll take ownership of identifying and developing new customer opportunities.
You’ll be responsible for the full sales journey – from initial research and outreach through to presentations, product demonstrations, commercial discussions and ultimately closing new business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and researching potential new customers and business opportunities.
- Proactively generating leads through cold calling, email outreach, video calls, networking, site visits and other outbound activity.
- Building relationships with key decision-makers and understanding their individual business requirements.
- Delivering engaging presentations and product demonstrations tailored to prospective customers.
- Managing commercial conversations confidently and professionally.
- Handling objections and negotiating contract terms to successfully convert opportunities into new customers.
- Developing a strong understanding of the company's technology and communicating its benefits clearly to potential clients.
- Working closely with the technical and accounts teams throughout the sales process.
- Collaborating with senior management and contributing to the wider growth of the business.
- Travelling to client premises when required.

What We're Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced salesperson who is confident generating their own opportunities rather than relying solely on inbound leads.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- 3–5 years' proven B2B and/or outbound sales experience.
- A demonstrable track record of winning new customers and generating new business.
- Strong prospecting skills and confidence with cold calling and outbound outreach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to quickly build rapport and develop strong relationships with prospective customers.
- Confidence presenting, negotiating and closing business.
- A resilient, self-motivated and target-driven approach.
- The ability to work effectively within a performance and incentive-led sales environment.
- An interest in technology and the ability to quickly understand technical products and solutions.
- A full UK driving licence, as travel to customer premises will form part of the role.

Experience or knowledge of areas such as data security, GDPR, encryption, AWS, live streaming or secure cloud-based technology would be beneficial, although the ability and enthusiasm to learn the product offering is equally important.
A degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales Management or a related discipline would be advantageous but is not essential.
