Ventro Group is a leading fire safety and building compliance business, delivering critical life safety services across the United Kingdom. Backed by private equity investment from KLAR Partners, we are on an ambitious growth trajectory - scaling our operations, investing in our people, and setting new standards across the fire safety sector.
Operating through our specialist brands - Ventro, Firntec, RD Jukes, and HJS - we provide a comprehensive range of fire safety and building compliance solutions including active and passive fire protection, façade remediation, fire risk assessments, fire door services, and electrical engineering.
This is an exciting time to join a business that is professionalising at pace, building best-in-class infrastructure, and making a genuine difference to the safety of buildings and the people who live and work in them.
The Role
We are recruiting a Sales Executive to join our Active Fire division, based in Plymouth with regional travel.
This role is responsible for managing and growing key client accounts, primarily across Housing Associations, NHS Trusts, and Local Authorities, while also driving new business development across the South, Wales and the M4 corridor.
You will act as the primary commercial point of contact, building long-term client relationships, identifying revenue opportunities, and converting pipeline into secured work.
This is a high-impact, field-based sales role suited to a results-driven Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or Area Sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
