Help financial institutions transform enterprise risk across DACH
Financial institutions are under increasing pressure to modernise legacy risk infrastructure, respond to evolving regulatory expectations, integrate fragmented data and deliver faster, more reliable risk insight. At the same time, they must improve governance, reduce operational complexity and establish scalable risk capabilities across the organisation.
At FIS, we help banks, capital markets firms, asset managers, insurers, fintechs and other regulated financial institutions modernise how they manage credit, market, liquidity, operational, regulatory and enterprise risk. We’re looking for a Senior Sales Executive to drive the growth of the FIS Enterprise Risk Suite across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
This is a senior, quota-carrying role for an accomplished enterprise seller who understands financial risk and thrives in complex, consultative sales environments. You’ll engage senior stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Technology and Transformation, helping clients adopt unified, scalable risk infrastructure.
The impact you’ll have
As a Senior Sales Executive, you’ll open strategic opportunities, build senior client relationships and close transformational deals across the DACH region.
You’ll:
- Win new clients and expand strategic accounts across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement through contract signature.
- Position FIS as a long-term risk transformation partner rather than solely a technology provider.
- Help regulated financial institutions modernise their risk operating models, technology and data infrastructure.
- Establish trusted relationships with CROs, CFOs, COOs, Heads of Risk, Heads of Finance, Technology leaders and Transformation executives.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth through strategic territory planning, new-business acquisition and account expansion.
- Represent FIS as a strategic ambassador for enterprise risk solutions across the DACH market.
Your success will be measured through revenue growth, bookings performance, pipeline development, strategic account advancement and long-term customer value creation.
What you’ll be selling
You’ll represent the FIS Enterprise Risk Suite, an integrated platform that helps financial institutions manage risk across:
- Credit risk
- Market risk
- Liquidity risk
- Operational risk
- Regulatory risk
- Enterprise risk
- Risk data aggregation, modelling and reporting
- Risk governance and regulatory alignment
- Workflow automation
- Real-time risk insight and decision support

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
