Help banks reinvent lending across Europe
Commercial lending is undergoing significant transformation. Banks are under increasing pressure to modernise legacy technology, enhance risk management capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and deliver seamless digital experiences, all while navigating increasingly complex regulatory environments.
At FIS, we help Tier 1, Tier 2, challenger banks and specialist lenders transform the entire lending lifecycle. We're looking for a Senior Sales Executive to drive growth across Europe, helping financial institutions modernise lending operations and accelerate their digital transformation journey.
The impact you'll have
As a Senior Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for opening strategic opportunities, building executive relationships, and closing transformational deals that deliver measurable business outcomes for financial institutions across Europe.
You'll:
- Win new logos and expand strategic accounts across European banking markets.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement through contract signature.
- Position FIS as a long-term transformation partner rather than a technology vendor.
- Influence how financial institutions modernise lending across origination, credit, servicing, operations, and digital channels.
- Develop trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth through strategic account planning and market expansion initiatives.
Your success will be measured through revenue growth, bookings performance, strategic account development, and long-term customer value creation.
What you'll be selling
You'll represent FIS's enterprise Lending Solutions portfolio, enabling clients to transform lending operations across:
- Loan origination and onboarding
- Credit decisioning and risk management
- Commercial and corporate lending platforms
- Loan servicing and portfolio management
- Multi-currency and multi-entity lending environments
- End-to-end digital transformation initiatives
- Operational efficiency and process modernisation
- Regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks
This is consultative, value-based selling focused on helping clients achieve measurable business outcomes including scalability, operational efficiency, improved customer experience, reduced risk, and regulatory confidence.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
