Ready to make East London the launchpad for one of the UK drinks market's most exciting RTD growth plans?
Gallo is looking for a Sales Activation Executive to bring our RTD strategy to life across East London: building availability, driving trial, creating brilliant in-store and local experiences, and turning neighbourhood insight into real commercial momentum.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who knows how East London moves: its convenience stores, wholesalers, venues, events, communities and social occasions. You might already be working in hospitality, events, retail, customer service, promotions, brand activation or sales. You may be early in your career and ready for your first major field-based role, or you may already be building experience in the drinks trade. What matters is that you are credible with people, curious about consumer culture, commercially switched on and excited by being out in market making things happen.
What you will do
- Be the in-market face of Gallo RTD brands across East London, building awareness, demand and advocacy with wholesalers, retailers and consumers.
- Grow distribution and visibility in priority outlets, especially displays and point-of-sale execution across convenience and cash and carry.
- Plan and deliver local activations, tastings, trade days, events and educational experiences that drive trial and repeat purchase.
- Build strong relationships with wholesalers, independent retailers, customers, agency partners and internal sales teams.
- Spot local opportunities, competitor activity and consumer trends, then feed insight back to Gallo Sales and Marketing teams.
- Work with the digital marketing team to help shape locally relevant content and community-led engagement.
- Review what works, capture learnings and keep improving the activation plan.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
