Role Description

The Sales Executive – ŠKODA Leeds role is a full-time, on-site position based at the ŠKODA dealership in Leeds. The role involves greeting and engaging customers, identifying their needs, and providing tailored advice on new and approved used ŠKODA vehicles.

  • Conducting test drives
  • Preparing and presenting finance and product options
  • Negotiating and closing sales
  • Managing the end-to-end sales process from initial enquiry to handover
  • Following up leads
  • Maintaining accurate records in the dealership CRM
  • Collaborating with colleagues to meet individual and team sales targets

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of customers.
  • Sales and negotiation skills, including experience achieving targets, handling objections, and closing sales in a retail or automotive environment.
  • Organization and time-management skills to manage multiple leads, appointments, and follow-ups while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Commercial and product awareness, with the ability to learn and explain vehicle features, finance options, and additional products in a clear, compliant manner.
  • Basic digital and IT skills, including use of CRM systems, email, and standard office software to manage customer records and sales processes.
  • Confidence in conducting test drives and presenting vehicles; a valid UK driving licence is essential.
  • Ability to work on-site in Leeds, flexibly including weekends and peak trading periods, as part of a supportive dealership team.
  • Previous experience in automotive sales or a similar customer-facing sales role is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
