Software Sales Executive

The Software Sales Executive is responsible for the achievement of sales and client goals through direct selling of software and related consulting services to executive management.

The Work:

This role will be leading and managing complex solution sales for Enterprise Customers. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience selling P2P software solutions to Accounts Payable, Finance, Treasury, IT, and Procurement organizations within large enterprises. This is a pure hunter sales role where you will identify potential customers and implement plans to secure their business; we have a team of Business Development Representatives that will assist in securing appointments for our Sales Executives. You will also review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develop sales campaigns to accommodate the goals of the company.

Location:

This is a remote role, but we are looking for someone that is based in the United Kingdom. Someone must be open to travel to London. The role will require around 35% of travel.

The Must Haves:

  • 8-12+ years of experience selling enterprise software solutions into large organizations
  • A strong enterprise SaaS solutions sales background within procurement, or third-party risk management required.
  • Knowledge of supplier onboarding, supplier information management, third party risk tools, and P2P ecosystems.
  • Several years of experience engaging with Fortune 1000 customers
  • A proven track record of consistently delivering against an annual quota of $1m+
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles and RFP processes
  • Strong discovery, value-based selling, and commercial negotiation capabilities
  • Confidence engaging at C-suite and senior executive level
  • Experience building and executing account strategies across large, complex organizations
  • A demonstrable ability to generate and develop own pipeline rather than relying solely on inbound opportunities
  • Strong forecasting discipline and ownership throughout the full sales cycle
  • Ideally, experience selling across multiple countries or within an EMEA environment
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing MillerHeimen, Siebel/Strategic Selling or other complex, consultative solution sales methodology required.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Power Messaging
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
