Sales Executive – New Ford Cars
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £21,000 basic + uncapped commission (OTE)
Hours: 40 hours per week, including weekends
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for a motivated Sales Executive to join our New Car Sales team in Edinburgh, representing Ford and helping customers find the perfect car to suit their needs. Whether you have previous car sales experience or come from a hospitality or customer-facing background, we want to hear from you. If you’re confident building relationships, thrive in a target-driven environment and enjoy turning great customer experiences into successful sales, this could be the perfect opportunity.
What will you be doing?
- Selling new Ford vehicles: Helping customers explore our range and find the right car for their lifestyle and budget.
- Delivering exceptional customer service: Creating a first-class experience from the initial enquiry through to vehicle handover.
- Maximising sales opportunities: Presenting finance options and additional products to meet customer needs and enhance their purchase.
- Generating new business: Proactively contacting potential customers, following up enquiries and building your own pipeline.
- Working as part of a team: Supporting your colleagues, contributing to team targets and helping create a positive showroom environment.

What are we looking for?
We’re interested in people with the right attitude, energy and customer focus.
You’ll ideally have:
- A full, valid UK driving licence.
- Previous car sales experience, or a background in hospitality or another customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, target-driven approach and the motivation to achieve results.
- A customer-first mindset, with a commitment to treating every customer fairly.
- The ability to hit the ground running while learning our products, processes and systems.
- A willingness to work weekends as part of a 40-hour working week.
- Being comfortable in front of a camera is also an advantage, as we embrace modern ways of engaging with customers.

In your first three to six months, you’ll be building strong customer relationships, getting to know the Ford range and our sales processes, achieving your objectives and becoming a valued member of the Edinburgh Sales team.
