Sales Executive

The Sales Executive will drive sales growth across the UK by promoting and selling Brett Martin’s portfolio of semi-finished thermoplastic and PVC products.

This role will target key sectors including fabrication, signage, and display markets. Using a relationship-led sales approach, the Graduate Sales Executive will be responsible for growing the customer base, securing new orders, managing existing accounts, and supporting major projects with cross-functional collaboration.

This is an entry-level graduate opportunity designed for candidates at the early stage of their career who are looking to develop a long-term future in B2B sales within the construction and manufacturing sectors. Full product training, ongoing coaching, and structured development will be provided.

  • Identify and qualify new leads through targeted market research and proactive outreach.
  • Build a pipeline of opportunities to support regional growth.
  • Present the company’s full product offering to prospective customers and communicate value effectively.
  • Expand market presence within industrial, agricultural, and fabrication sectors.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend solutions aligned with their needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring follow-up on quotations and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain regular contact with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Sales Execution & Support

  • Assist in developing and executing the regional sales plan as part of the wider sales strategy.
  • Prepare and deliver sales materials, proposals, and presentations.
  • Provide timely reports on meetings, opportunities, customer feedback, and market activity.
  • Identify and support the launch of new products into the Irish market.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Technical, Quality, Production, R&D, and Commercial Services.
  • Contribute insights on market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for product development.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility.

Planning & Communication

  • Maintain an organised travel and call plan, ensuring regular structured visits across the region.
  • Participate in sales meetings, providing updates and preparing relevant information.

Required criteria

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, plan effectively, and manage a regional territory.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel frequently.

Desired criteria

  • Experience selling into industrial or agricultural building markets.
  • Knowledge of thermoplastics, polycarbonate, or PVC sheet products.
  • Experience working with fabricators, signmakers, or distributors.
  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally in construction materials, plastics, building products, or related sectors.
