About MDOTM

MDOTM is a global leading provider of AI-driven investment solutions, growing across our offices in London, Milan, and New York. We recently closed a $27M growth equity round, led by Expedition Growth Capital, to support our continued international expansion. Our proprietary platform, Sphere, currently supports over $100B in assets under management for institutional clients including Morgan Stanley, Amundi, and Zurich Bank.

Role Overview

MDOTM, a leading provider of AI-driven investment solutions, is looking for a new business hunter to help us lead our commercial expansion in the US market. You will be selling our SaaS platform Sphere, powered by our proprietary AI models. This is not a farming or account management role, we need someone who thrives on opening doors, building pipelines from scratch, and closing complex, enterprise high-value deals with institutional clients within the traditional asset and wealth management space. You will own the full sales cycle end-to-end and play a direct role in shaping MDOTM's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full new business sales cycle from prospecting through to close, taking complete responsibility for generating and winning new institutional clients.
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting, cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Create demand by confidently engaging prospects, challenging the status quo, and positioning Sphere as a differentiated solution in the market.
  • Deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations that clearly communicate business value and translate complex investment technology into client-focused outcomes.
  • Drive opportunities forward with urgency, skilfully handling objections, negotiating commercial terms, and consistently closing new business against ambitious revenue targets.
  • Maintain deep market and competitor knowledge, using insights to refine prospecting strategies, strengthen messaging, and uncover new business opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Skills Required

  • SaaS experience selling into asset managers, wealth managers, private banks, or other institutional investors operating within the traditional asset and wealth management space

  • Proven ability to independently generate and close net-new logos
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with long timelines, technical evaluations, and multiple decision-makers
  • Strong commercial mindset with a clear ability to influence, persuade, and close senior stakeholders (C-suite, Heads of Portfolio Construction/Investment Solutions)
  • High level of discipline and accountability, particularly in pipeline management and CRM usage
  • You love a challenge and aren't afraid to sell an emerging brand; you get energy from the challenge rather than riding on an established name
  • Resilient, driven, and highly motivated with a "push until it's done" mentality
