About Us

Accounting Placements is a specialist recruitment and career development company focused on helping aspiring accountants break into the UK accounting industry.

Our Employment Placement Programme supports candidates who are struggling to secure accounting roles by providing practical work experience, career support, interview preparation, and assistance with securing employment opportunities.

We are now looking for a confident, motivated Sales Associate to join our growing team and speak with candidates who have already expressed an interest in progressing their accounting careers.

The Role

This is primarily a consultative sales role.

You will speak with prospective candidates, understand their current situation and career goals, explain how our Employment Placement Programme works, and help suitable candidates decide whether the programme is right for them.

You will be working with predominantly warm leads and booked consultations, rather than spending your day cold calling random prospects.

Your responsibilities will include:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
